Kate Firestone, Ph. D

Kate is a Korean American adoptee raised in central Pennsylvania. In 2020, she graduated from Michigan State University with a PhD in Writing & Rhetoric. Her dissertation explores the role of racial isolation in the leadership practices of Korean American adoptee community leaders in the Midwest. She lives with her partner and two cats and enjoys reading, writing, music, TV/movies, connecting with other Asian Americans and adoptees, and noraebang.
